Integrated Communication and Digital Solutions
was established in 2017 initially bringing awareness to the need for more STEM in the classroom and daily lives of school aged children with our digital content on social media and other platforms.
The need to provide more STEM for underserved children became our main focus leading to the development of our STEM afterschool programs with scholarships and free courses while we continued to create digital content.
Like all other non-profits we were faced with financial difficulties but continue to push forward with our missions to provide more STEM using the skills and expertise of our board members.
Our non-profit see great importance of ‘Fresh Air’ and ‘Nature’ for which we advocate in our programs greatly. Urban children in particular are forced to absorb and breath polluted air in the cities and towns. Living conditions as may look perfect visually statistics shows devastating numbers of children in particular being affected.
As result “An average of 1 out of every 12 school-aged children has asthma. 3.4 percent of children with asthma are more likely to use a hospital emergency room.”
Did you know that asthma kills 10 individuals every day in the US? Mostly females.
In 2024, our non-profit will launch our overnight STEM Camp – Naturalis. A Camp for both boys and girls ages 6-16. It will be the classic kids summer camp with many extras – (see activities) offering from three-week sessions for 7-16 year old campers and one-week sessions for 6-9 year old campers.
Our beautiful 50 acre lake is the perfect setting for FRESH AIR, FUN, SUN, and ADVENTURE.
Most importantly, Camp Naturalis builds character and values in its campers. It is a key component to a well-rounded education as children learn responsibility, cooperation and reconnect with nature while gaining independence and confidence.
Our dynamic group of college counselors serves as positive role models for your child, and we strive to keep a counselor to camper ratio of 1:4 in each cabin.
We are accredited by the American Camping Association, because we know that the safety of your child is of the utmost importance.
Camp facilities are available to book for Weekend Retreats during the school year. Retreat program schedules can be tailored to the needs of each individual retreat group, and Camp Naturalis can facilitate groups up to 1000 people, including a challenge course for team building.
